The Malaysian Rowing Team

To prove that Malaysia Boleh, there will be an annual rowing competition against the Japanese Rowing Team. It was agreed that each team to be made up of 8 members.

After few months of intensive training, the race began!

The Japanese won by 1km!

The Malaysian were furious with the disappointing results. The management decided to win the race next year at any cost. So they established a team of analysts to observe the situation recommend an appropriate solution.

After detailed analysis, the team observed that Japanese had Seven rowers and ONE captain. The Malaysian team have SEVEN captains and only ONE rowers.

Facing such critical scenario. The management showed an unexpected wisdom. They hired a consulting company to restructure the Malaysian Team.

After few months......

The consultants concluded that there were too many captains and too few rowers in Malaysian team.

A solution was proposed based on this BRILLIANT analysis. The structure of the team must change immediately.

As today, there will be only:-
>4 captains
>2 supervisors
>1 manager
>1 rowers

Besides this, they also suggest to improved the rower's working environment and to give him higher competencies.

Next year, the Japanese team won by 2km!

The Malaysian team immediately removed the rower from the team based on his unsatisfactory performance. A bonus award was paid to the management team for the excellent motivation they had shown during the preparation phase.

The consulting company further prepased a new analysis, where showed that the strategy was good, the motivation satisfactory, but the tools had to be improved.

Currently, The Malaysian Team is designing a New Boat...

I not meant to critic Malaysian Team, it is just a story. I wanna apply it to our church.

Malaysia team has 7 captains and 1 rower. And when they lost the race, they fired the rower. Just in our church, too many people want to talk, but only few people will really do it. When people can't make it, the 1 will kena boom! Why must this happen? Doing GOD works really so hard? I don't understand. Ok, let say they will change, but management people is more than those will do work 1!!! So disappointed. No wonder so many people leaved our church. If they still keep talking, don't want to work, and keep on change the method to works, it is still the same. Just like they don't want hire more rowers, but changing the management team, and change new boat. It's equal to ZERO.

Wake up HUMAN.

Today I'm not happy, and I got this email from friends. This story is very very true.

  • guys, I'm speechless... but I hope u guys know this.. wherever there are humans there are weakness..

I had the same thought as u had, but think bout this.. this is a place where sinner meets God! It's here where we will pray for them for change.. it's hard to pray sometimes, but I tell u, its even harder to pray for those who goes against us. Try that.. you'll see a personal breakthrough in ur life.

Jesus died for them as well as for us.. let's keep them in love. Do you think it's easy to accept this people in love? nope it's not easy, it's not hard either..I think it's impossible!! with our humanly nature it's definitely impossible, that's why we need God...

remember we have a greater cause to live for! THE CAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST!

  • guessed it is easier to let go anger rather than keeping it & say, "i forgive you cos' you don't know what you're doing or say"
When there are "in" , make sure there are "out". E.g. if you eat alot & don't pang sai - you're in deep shit !!
Express your anger but do not sin.
